Jerry Watkins is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Design, Swinburne University of Technology. Jerry has designed and delivered digital literacy and content creation programs in India, Indonesia and Nepal for international agencies including UNESCO, UNDP and the Commonwealth of Learning. Furthermore, he has a 20-year professional track-record in commercial design and communication and has provided creative solutions to companies including AT&T Wireless, Bell Canada, Korea Telecom, and Vodafone Group.

Stephanie Hemelryk Donald has worked in Australian higher education since 1997. Her research and writing focuses on film, media, children’s experience, and the Asia Pacific region. In recent years Stephi has worked specifically on urban branding, intra-regional and cinematic perspectives on cosmopolitanism and migration, and the idea of class in China. She is now Dean of the School of Media and Communication at RMIT, Melbourne.

Professor FAN Zhou is Director of the Cultural Industries Research Academy, Communication University of China, Beijing. Prof Fan Zhou’s research area includes cultural policies, cultural clusters and theory studies.

Prof. ZHANG Jingcheng is from the Beijing Academy of Science and Technology. In July, 2005 together with his colleagues, Jingcheng established The China Creative Industry Research Centre. He is the editor-in-chief of Development of Creative Industries in China (also known as the Blue Book), a series of reports of China's creative industries beginning in 2006. Research areas include: the theory and practice of China creative industries development; the studies of creative clusters in capital cities of China; the development of creative industries in Beijing; the Conservation and Adaptive Reuse of industrial heritage in China; and the market research of Beijing's creative industries.
